    A letter to ME!

Hello beautiful girl. I am writing you today to tell you that I see you. That I see the work you are putting into yourself and the journey that you are on. I see the toll that it is taking on you, your family, your relationships and everything you touch. But I also see the growth and the pure effort you are putting in to making your life fulfilling for Y O U! Sweet girl, you have lived your whole life for others. You have put your needs on the back burner to support and heal everyone else’s wounds. Meanwhile, you end the day with deeper and darker wounds for…

How to create an inviting guest room

Since summer time is wrapping up (cross you fingers) and we are going to be moving into fall, I thought it might be time to start looking at those guest rooms. For us, my youngest’s birthday is in September, so if I don’t start paying attention now, then we will have floods of people in and out of our house before we know it and I will NOT be prepared! Ok guys, it is inevitable. I cannot hold out for too long. I have a shopping problem and the itch just kept itching, but this time I was at least smart about it. We as a family are trying really hard to recorrect our finances. Over the past few years my husband has bounced around on jobs and even changed careers, I was laid off due to budget cuts and we added 2 tiny humans to the mix. Needless to say, our spending needed to be looked at, and we put ourselves on a pretty strict budget to try and correct the course. This easily meant that willy nilly spending…

    How to live tidy

I have a small problem. And yes this is a M E problem. I have to have order to my home and surroundings. This is not to say that people without order are bad people or wrong or any of those things. I have M A N Y friends who are not tidy or orderly and we are still besties. I just couldn’t live in their house… 🙂 Also, while I am covering my ass, tidy to me does not necessarily mean clean. Let me be crystal clear here! I am a neat freak and everything has a place and it is a methodical place that makes our everyday lives…
